Terms of Use

Last updated: July 31, 2026 · Applies to thinkingnative.com, related APIs, and the ThinkingNative iOS app.

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of ThinkingNative’s website, web try tool, API, account features, and the ThinkingNative iOS application (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

ThinkingNative helps rewrite AI-generated drafts so they read more naturally (including “Natural” and “Undetectable” style modes where offered). The Service includes:

  • Marketing site and documentation at thinkingnative.com
  • Web try tool and signed-in account / API access
  • The standalone ThinkingNative iOS app distributed via the Apple App Store

Features, limits, and pricing may change as we iterate. We may throttle, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service for maintenance, abuse prevention, or product changes.

2. Accounts and API keys

On the web, accounts are provided through Clerk. You are responsible for keeping your login and API tokens (tn_…) confidential and for activity under your account or keys. Keep tokens on a server or private client config you control — not in a mobile app binary, public repository, or page JavaScript. Notify us promptly if you believe your credentials were compromised.

The iOS app does not require a ThinkingNative web account for core use. Optional Advanced mode may accept a web API token; usage under that token is subject to the same account rules and quotas.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes.
  • Attempt to bypass rate limits, paywalls, or entitlement checks.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service in a way that harms availability.
  • Submit content you do not have the right to process, or that violates others’ rights.
  • Misrepresent ThinkingNative output as human-written where disclosure is required by law, school, employer, or platform rules.
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without our written permission, except as allowed by your plan.

You are solely responsible for how you use rewritten text. ThinkingNative does not guarantee “undetectable” results against any detector, nor suitability for academic, legal, medical, or other regulated use cases.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of text you submit. You grant us a limited license to process that text (and related metadata) solely to provide and operate the Service, including calling third-party model providers needed to generate a rewrite. You represent that you have the rights needed to submit the content for processing.

5. Subscriptions and billing

iOS (App Store / RevenueCat)

Paid Pro features in the iOS app are sold as auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple. Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period (per Apple’s rules).

Manage, change, or cancel iOS subscriptions in Apple’s subscription management UI (for example Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, or the “Manage subscription” action in the app). ThinkingNative cannot cancel an App Store subscription for you on the website. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription. Restoring purchases uses Apple / RevenueCat flows in the app.

Prices shown in the app are set in App Store Connect and may vary by region and taxes. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies.

Web (Stripe)

Web plans and packs are billed through Stripe according to the pricing shown at checkout / on /pricing. Cancel or manage web subscriptions through your Account billing portal or by contacting us. Web and iOS entitlements are separate unless we explicitly link them later.

6. Free tiers and limits

Free try and free account word limits are provided “as available” and may change. We may reset, reduce, or remove free allowances to prevent abuse.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, branding, software, and documentation are owned by ThinkingNative or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you rights to our trademarks or source code beyond using the Service as offered.

8. Third-party services

The Service depends on third parties (including Apple, RevenueCat, Clerk, Stripe, hosting providers, and model/API providers). Their terms and availability affect the Service. We are not responsible for third-party outages or policy changes beyond our reasonable control.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that outputs will be accurate, unique, undetectable, or fit for any specific purpose.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THINKINGNATIVE AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold ThinkingNative harmless from claims arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for the Service or other users, or for prolonged inactivity on free tiers. Provisions that by nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits) will survive.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page. Material changes will be indicated by updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Contact

Questions about these Terms: [email protected] or the contact form. Privacy details are in our Privacy Policy.

These Terms are a practical MVP agreement, not a substitute for counsel tailored to your situation.
